Q. How much does it cost to print?

Information on student printing.


The networked computers available at each campus library and in open computer labs use a system called PaperCut to provide printing services. The login for printing is now set to the “new” myJSCC password. If you have issues logging in with the new password, email helpdesk@jeffersonstate.edu or http://helpdesk.jeffersonstate.edu.

Please note that all computer labs are equipped with black and white printing only.

There is no charge for printing until the printing quota is reached.  If you are unable to print or your credentials are rejected, please send an email to printadmin@jeffersonstate.edu.

Whenever a request to print is made, the following dialog boxes will appear. Please note this image is showing the printer assigned to the Shelby Campus LRC.  The appropriate printer will automatically be selected depending upon your location.

Click on the square "Print" button to access the login screen for PaperCut.  See the following dialog box:

Enter your “new” myJSCC password and click "OK".  If your login credentials do not work, please ask for assistance at the circulation desk.  [Note: The Libraries do not control myJSCC usernames and passwords.]  If your credentials are accepted, the following dialog box will appear:

Click "Print" to send your document to the networked printer.
