Do you accept financial aid for Fast Track programs?

Answer

No, federal financial aid such as FASFA is not available for non-credit. 

Financial Assistance: 

  • Pay As You Go. This program breaks up the course fee into three payments. We have a special registration link for this option that we can email to you. Let us know if you have any other questions about this program.
  • WIOA:  Local Alabama Career Centers provide WIOA scholarship opportunities to qualifying students for some programs.  (Workforce Investment Opportunity Act).  These are for low-income students/students who have recently been laid off from their jobs.

  • Jeremiah’s Hope:  The Jeremiah’s Hope program provides scholarships to students seeking workforce training in high-need essential healthcare fields. Classes will take place across Jefferson State’s four campuses and currently are taking place in a hybrid learning environment.   • Connect to Your Future: The Connect to Your Future Program at Jefferson State Community College is for out of school youth between the ages of 16 and 24. The program provides scholarships for participants to receive training in high demand, high wage areas through the Center for Workforce Education’s Fast Track program. The Connect to Your Future Program gives youth the assistance they need to obtain marketable skills for employment and valuable work experience through job shadowing, internships, and on-the-job training. Connect to Your Future also provides supportive services in leadership development, mentorship, tutoring, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial and workforce readiness training.
